ABOUT SAPWeb
Users can examine their income statements, loan statements, payment statements, and even EC forms with the help of SAPWeb, which is one of the financial support systems. Users of SAPWeb include staff members as well as users from outside the organisation (e.g. research assistants). This portal was upgraded in 2023 to accommodate the most recent technological developments and user needs.
DRIVERS FOR CHANGES
The contributing factors of this transformation are technical and process modifications. The present portal requires significant enhancement, maintenance, and support. This implementation is expected to provide the institution with the following benefits:
AUTOMATED PROCESSES
Process automation minimises the amount of human intervention to a minimum level. It reduces processes that are either unneeded or inefficient while also supporting robust workflows.
INCREASE USAGE
This platform provides a simple, easy-to-understand interface that can be accessed easily at any time and place.
AGILITY & FLEXIBILITY
The implementation of a flexible, rules-engine-based system allows non-technical personnel to configure the system (including interfaces). This will decrease dependency on technical parties.
